We have dedicated and experienced teachers.
Teachers are as the students' second parents, they must be a good model to the kids too.
In NSM, all of our teachers, not forgetting our other staffs like the chef, kakak (cleaners) and pakcik (drivers), they are very caring and friendly to kids.
Our teachers will be attending the training provided by HQ regularly to upgrade the skills and be more effective in teaching and handling kids.
NSM is using the Thematic Approach in the teaching, it means that the kids will be exposed to a new theme in each month and a new sub-theme in each week.
Kids will be learning a wide variety of skills and knowledge everyday!
And, we integrate the activities of science, moral, language, etc into the theme, kids love the activities and learn very well from activities.
Examinations are not the true test of ability.
At NSM, we will evaluate the progression of each kid by Rubric and Checklist, which will be done after each theme (monthly).
This is to determine how well the teaching process and strategies. And also it will provide a guideline to parents on the learning progression of the kids.

Besides the main subjects (B. Inggeris, B. Melayu, B. Cina, Maths), NSM emphasises the development of fine and gross motor skills, living skills, behaviours, brain development and etc.
5 - 6yo
It is the important stage as an early preparation for kids to be promoted to primary school. At these stage, kids will be trained in the skills of reading and writing. And not forgetting the logical thinking and problem solving skills.

Food Academy is a fun cooking programme specially designed for 3 and 4 years old young learners.
During the lesson, kids will be exposed to many types of food and food preparation activities, which we called fun cooking. Kids just love to cook, bake and decorate their own food.
From the activities, kids will learn the goodness of each type of food and this is one of the ways our teachers encourage them to eat all kind of food.
Living Skills is also a programme specially designed for our young learners.
Kids will be learning many daily routine, some household chores, personal hygiene, self-care skills, etc, which will trained up the kids to be more independent.
NSM Motor Skill programme emphasises on the development of gross motor (large muscles) and fine motor (small muscles) .
Working on gross motor skills helps a kid gain strength and confidence in his/her body. It also helps them get exercise and physical activity, which is important for a healthy lifestyle.
NSM Right Brain and Left Brain programme containes many types of hands-on activities and logical thinking games. The aim of this programme is to inspire kid's unlimited potential.
The sample of activities are flashcards, maze, puzzles, observation activities, bricks, problem solving, memory games, etc.
Our kids love doing science experiment on their own. This is the time when their curiosity is quenched.
Every time during the science lesson, kids will be taught a science theory and phenomena that is related to their daily life, followed by the exciting science experiment !
7. Music and Movement
Colours and music are the best learning channels to boast a kid's creativity and imagination !
LIFE SMART programme is a well-planned daily activity programme, specially for our daycare kids.
Each week, we will have a special theme and our kids will be doing lots of activities related to the theme

In year 2021, New Sun Moon will incorporate STEM education in our main subjects.
STEM is an approach to learning that integrates the areas of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
Kids enjoy solving problems and exploring the world through science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).
STEM learning can support children's early math development and many other important skills such as problem solving skills, critical thinking skills, teamwork, analysis skills and can foster their curiosity.
The parents and teachers' relationship is highly valued in NSM.
In every year, we will organise 2 times of Family Day. Fun activities and prizes-winning games will be held during Family Day too.
Teachers and parents can take the opportunity for bonding and to discuss of the kids learning progression in the school.
Every week, a Little Monitor will be selected in every class, to be the leader of the class.
Little Monitor is the best way to train up the kid's leadership, responsibility and social skills.
All kids will have the chance to be Little Monitor.
Breakfast
Our breakfast menu will change in every 2 weeks to allow our kids to eat a variety of food.
Lunch
Our lunch is carefully planned, it is not only nutritious and yet delicious. All food is home-cooked and is served warm.
Fruit will be served daily too.
Tea
Tea and snack will be served to our daycare kids. After nap, kids will have a snack before the daily daycare activities.
Every month after March, NSM will introduce a different Good Behaviour Campaign to the kids.
The purpose of the monthly campaign is to instill the correct moral values of kids and shape their noble character.
Yay ! This is the most awaiting activity for most of the kids !
There will be 3 field trips in a year, which kids will the opportunity to
visit zoos, museum, factories, farms ...
Field trips are fun and can allow kids to open their eyes to new environments and new cultures.
From time to time, NSM will organise variuos contest to enable our kids to explore their potential and talent and to inspire their self-confidence. Our school contests are as below :

Multiple Intelligences + Art = MI Art (more than just art)
With the theory by Prof. Dr. Howard Gardner, 1983, each child has the opportunity to learn & develop potentials in ways harmonious with their unique mind.
MI Art provides a multiple intelligences art for kids in the field of :

2. musical intelligence
3. logical-mathematical intelligence
4. spatial intelligence
5. bodily kinesthetic intelligence

In year 2021, NSM will work together with
Cambridge Assessment English and Cambridge University Press .
We will have Cambridge English Class for 5 and 6 years old kids, allowing them to learn internationally certified English courses and to obtain certificate for Cambridge English Assessment.
Kids are exposed to dance in a fun-loving way, where, apart from learning the concepts of ballet, they will also learn musical concepts and learn how to express that through dance expressions.
Lessons will be conducted by trainer from famous ballet studio in K.Lumpur.
NSM has also introduced abacus mental arithmetic as an extracurricular activity in schools, hoping that kids can improve the speed and accuracy of mathematical arithmetic through abacus mental arithmetic.
Abacus mental arithmetic is also conducive to the development of the left and right brains.
